According to reports published in the media, a group of saints and prominent people are drawing up the outlines of a ‘Hindu Rashtra’. In the Dharma Sangsad held on behalf of the organization last February, it was decided to draft a separate ‘constitution’. Now a team of 30 people is doing that work. Shankaracharya Parishad president Swami Anandaswaroop said, “A total of 750 pages of constitution will be prepared which is now being discussed thoroughly. Religious scholars and experts will participate in the discussion. Based on that, half of the constitution (about 300 pages) will be made public at the Magh-Mela in 2023.” Anandswaroop also said that a 32-page draft has been prepared on some issues including education, security, legal system, voting.
While informing about this happily, he also expressed the hope that, “One day in the future, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar will come together.” It is claimed that no rules from the British era will work in integral India. Everything will be done according to the ‘Varnashram’ system. Judiciary will follow the ‘rules of Treta and Dwapar Yuga’. The ancient Gurukul method will return to education. Military training will be compulsory for all citizens of the country. And agriculture will be completely tax free. Apart from this, the capital of the country will also ‘change’. Kashi instead of Delhi.
Hearing about such a possible India, CPM State Secretary Mohammad Salim said, “All this is a brainchild of the RSS. The idea of separatism in pluralistic India. If all these things are said, India’s relations with the neighboring countries will also be hit. He said, “It is very reprehensible. In India, a country of pluralism, everyone should protest against such thinking.” Vishwa Hindu Parishad All India Spokesperson Vinod Bansal told Anandabazar Online, “The Parishad does not have any such program or idea. The Parishad has no idea who is making it or what they are doing.” In the same tone, BJP All India Vice President Dilip Ghosh said, “The Hindu Rashtra that RSS talks about is not built on geographical boundaries. It is a culture. That Hindu state exists. And the Bharatiya Janata Party believes in working within the existing constitution of the country with full confidence.”
